Go on foot to look at Orange Beach the longest beach of Peleliu island and very shallow,quiet and serene for an ideal picnic.Behind the longest beach in Peleliu, the American combatants first landed on the beach and a massive battle ensued when the Japanese soldiers mounted an assault. The beachhead quickly became a bloody ocean,which the Japanese then named "Orange Beach".
